The Firm was originally established as the Law Offices of Aurelio Caparas in New York City by Aurelio Caparas to help corporations and their employees immigrate to the United States.
As an immigrant himself, Aurelio knows the long and enduring process of going through the byzantine United States immigration process and has made it a motto of the firm that “We know what you are going through.”
Ever since its inception, the Firm has processed and represented numerous corporations, employees and families before USCIS and United States government agencies.
Raymund Caparas joined his father and the Firm after passing both the New York and New Jersey bar in 2006. Together, they have built a firm known for honesty, personal attention and ability to find solutions to the most complicated business immigration issues.
Now located in the shadow of Bryant Park in Manhattan, the firm continues its’ personal service to it’s clients. The firm’s continued existence is proof that what started many years ago can continue for many more years.

After graduating from Fordham University, Raymund worked as a paralegal for a major business immigration law firm where he handled the adjustment of status cases for a major financial firm.
After two years as a Paralegal, Raymund went to law school in Denver, Colorado where he interned at an Asylum clinic helping individuals with their asylum cases.
Raymund passed the bars of New York and New Jersey and joined his Father in the firm as an Associate Attorney.
Raymund is now the Managing Attorney handling the majority of the cases for the Firm, including accompanying clients to their interviews.

Of Counsel
After immigrating to the United States, Aurelio started the law firm to help his clients’ (mostly, firms and corporations) employees—whom he calls the “best and the brightest” from other parts of the world—achieve their American dream and become integral and productive participants in making the U.S. the “shining hill” in the world.
Aurelio majored in Accounting and graduated Cum Laude from a university in the Philippines and is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Aurelio then graduated from the leading private law school in the Philippines where he was a scholar while teaching accounting (and later, business law) full-time in several universities in the Metro-Manila. He migrated to the U.S. as an exceptional ability alien and established the firm.
Aurelio lives in New Jersey and he continues to be involved in the Firm as of Counsel and handles some of the Firm’s complicated PERM cases and Intracompany transfers (L-1).
